I thought I was going to have a problem with this desk mat because one of the reviews talked about it being hazardous to the health. He wrote that it smelled bad and that Amazon would not accept it as a return but refunded him the money regardless. I assumed that meant it has a warning for prop 65 but couldn't find one anywhere. Just to be sure, I tried to return it the day it arrived. Amazon immediately accepted the return and set it up as usual. Of course, I canceled the return and am enjoying the mat!It smells fine, and I am super sensitive to smells of all kinds. It lies flat, feels and looks good. It does have a reddish stitching which I could have done without, but it is barely noticeable, and I have it covering 2 desks cornered together.The only issue is that the pad has snaps for the attachments that are in the way. I just wanted the flat pad.After years of use, the surface of my desk was starting to look pretty bad. This pad covers a wide area, as a result, the overall appearance has improved greatly. The pen/pencil cup is real handy (I'm an aspiring educator). The phone holder is not very useful, but it's not because of the design...I have two 32 inch monitors and one of them gets in the way of the phone. All in all, a very good purchase. I don't think anyone will be disappointed if they were to invest in this item!!!Perfect desk pad for my workspace. A quality product. It came well packaged. The pen holder and cell phone stand are real differentiators and very useful to organize your home office. I am using the surface as a mouse pad. The product is exactly as described. Looks great and the phone stand just the best perk.This is premium quality and the packaging was very nice. love it and fits perfect on my IKEA deskA nice leather feel and good size, but for me this product was spoiled by the popper button additions, which are too raised from the mat if you don’t want to use the additions. The raised holes get in the way and are too far in from the sides of the product.So I’m returning for a refund for that reason only. Sorry!Good quality desk mat. I wish I could give it a better review but the one I received just can’t seem to stay flat. I kept it under a mattress for 3 days and it still won’t flatten, every edge is curled up which sucks cause I love the leather and cork sides, just won’t flatten out.Good. Not sure about the edge things. They're quite flimsy and don't ever lay flush on the mat, especially the mobile holder. Colour is also closer to orange than brown and not very much like what's pictured. Has a smell and you need to weigh down the rolled edges for it to settle into shape. I like the stitching.Quality of the cell phone and pen holder aren't that great and the pad really doesn't look good if you opt-out of using them. The buckles don't look good on their own and hiding/covering them doesn't really work as they stick out enough to make your tablet or keyboard tilted.
