Just got an antique rosewood rolltop-type desk. We wanted to protect the writing surface, which was only 13-inches deep, but 32-inches long. The depth/width dictated the mat size. Nekmit was the only Amazon provider with a 12-inch wide/deep mat (but only available in 17-inch length)! The black leather looks good and is of good quality, but would have preferred a brown color (not available).BTW, we've ordered an other one!
