I love the look and feel and overall quality of this desk pad. Note that it's not real leather, which is a PLUS for me - I can think of only disadvantages to having one made of leather.This pad looks (and is!) very high quality, it's got a bit of cushion to it, it doesn't show marks easily, it stays put on the desk, it provides great protection to the furniture, it works totally fine with my Magic Mouse, I've had no problem with "curl," it's just the right size to put in front of my keyboard, with the computer just beyond it (yeah, I type with my arms resting on the pad! A very different posture from what I would use on an old Smith-Corona manual typewriter!). The only slight adjustment it has caused me to make is that there's a slight risk of poke-through when writing on a single sheet of 20# paper, so best to use two sheets. Overall a really excellent product that has gained several compliments.
