It is so heavy expect the packaging to be damaged by the time it arrives. Unfortunately mine was damaged in a noticeable area on desk top and the back panel was cracked. I read the reviews prior so wasn’t too surprised. Really would have been worth the money if it wasn’t for that part. Also the hole cover for wires is uselessI typically don't leave reviews , but wanted to in this particular instance due to lack of feedback and me taking a gamble on this desk. I can happily say it's exactly as described and was perfect for what I needed. The dimensions of my office are such that I was struggling to find something that both fit in a corner with a desktop/monitor and had a long left side for my laptop so that I could swivel, but wasn't long on the right side to block a doorway. This unit is exactly what I was looking for. Build quality is very good and much more sturdy and heavy compared to cheaper units. It's still particle wood, but much much thicker and solid. The entire thing probably weighs over 100lbs and is rock solid. There are only four pieces and it assembles in 30 minutes tops. Arrived without a single scratch and looks great.100% worth the money and recommended.I bought this desk to support casual gaming and home office work. I use a 2 monitor setup and wanted enough room for both. This desk was exactly perfect for this goal.Pros: Beautiful Sturdy Very high quality Simple Easy to put together (if you're careful!) due to the simplicity of the model. Did I say beautiful and high quality? Worth doubling down on these :DCons: Be careful when putting it together. The connections between large pieces are easy to tear due to heavy nature of the high quality wood. Super heavy. You'll generally want a partner to move the box and help with a few key steps in the construction phase. (However this high weight is due to the excellent quality of the parts.) Mine came without any damage but there is no padding in the package. Seems risky.Conclusion: Absolutely love it. I was originally worried 72"W was going to be too long but honestly its perfect. This desk is perfect. Be careful when you're putting it together, gravity can seriously destroy this thing during construction. High quality, attractive desk.Two storage cabinets and a desk arrived today via Amazon delivery. Assembly and final product were excellent. I had two other deliveries via UPS Ground and there were items missing with a couple pieces damaged. I will work with the Bush Business Furniture customer service to get them replaced. Will post later with the result of the replacements.Desk is basic office quality furniture, meaning it is no frill and heavy. But there is a dent on the side of the box and the back side of the desk top that was beneath the box had a small section of the veneer damaged. The package is shipped by FedEx from the manufacturer so it is probably not the reseller's fault. But price from same reseller went down $90 to right after I took delivery. I thought the mahogany finish cost more but that turned out to be not the case. It looks like the reseller was trying match prices from other sellers.Desk pieces are heavy but are easy to put together. You would need two people unless you can manage to position the large and quite heavy top piece all by yourself. Assembly instructions are available from the Bush website so go take a look if you want to know how straight forward the assembly process is.BEST DESK IN THE WORLD. DOES NOT CHIP. There are no bells and whistles but the simple elegance of it is perfect and very room and comfortable for me to work at. Since working from home I needed a desk with some space that wasn’t bulky. We got lots of compliments and even my 6’5” brother purchased after seeing and sitting at it.The desk was delivered rapidly and in perfect condition. The quality of this desk is actually really good, and I am very satisfied with what I received. It is perfect for a home office in the corner of a room as long as you have enough space. Instructions provided were sufficient for a straightforward assembly of the desk. However, this furniture is heavy and you may need help of another person to comfortable assemble it.
